Played with my year-old godson today, how he'd grown! He can walk now without any assistance, I'm such a proud ninang. Haha. Soon he'll be feeding himself and talking and reading. Aw <3 He's so adorable, and I can't wait to take him out to zoos, parks, and the like :)

I've given up on finding my phone. Glad that there's a spare one lying around the house, but I have to get a replacement sim, and I need my mother's authorization letter and ID for it. Sucks because she's in US now. :( I really need a mobile! Why am I so burara. I need it by tomorrow, I want to know if he got the package :( And my contacts! They'll all be gone, that's such a hassle. Note to self: I should always have a copy of my contacts in the computer.

Oh well. 

This Friday has got to be the most stressful pre-weekend in a while.

I am dreading tomorrow. But it's my fault, I know that. I should have prepared sooner, and not cram it all like this. Again. 

Lots of things to do, I should not sleep. 

OK let's focus on the positive:

I finally watched Filipiniana's dance concert! They were amazing, as expected. I love, love, love their outfits so much! So colorful, and lively and fun to dance in. It made me crave for a Philippine period film! Their props are also utilized well - the handkerchiefs, the pots, the sablays, the fans, even the koosh ball-like structures deserve a mention. And the music! It was played live; from gongs to guitars and ukuleles and a contrabass. So wonderful to the ears. It makes my heart leap. Nakakakilig, swear. It's just sad that there weren't as many people as expected, come on free concert na nga e. Kulang ng publicity? Hmm. More people should be really exposed to this beauty!! I salute you UP Filipiniana!

Favorite part was the manlalatik dance, there was humor in it, as well as the dance wherein two girls are battling for the affection of one guy. Mala-teleserye ang dating, may tulakang nagaganap. It was amusing. And beautiful. 

Of course, Filipiniana's winning piece, the cariñosa, did not disappoint. I was smiling the whole time! Ang landi landi, though subtle and graceful. Nakakatuwa. :)

Ok I have procrastinated enough I think? Time to work.
