Weekend was so fun and jampacked it would take me a day to chronicle the journey. How I love it! NLEX and SLEX in a weekend, plus Skyway, EDSA and Commonwealth, in the most amazing company. GK I really really thank you for being the bridge in making all these happen!
Today, after paying for my brother's freedom climb registration fee, we went to Payatas 13, a GK village that was really a village. I expected just several rows of colored houses and the usual basketball court, but what greeted us was a quaint tree-lined village with its own arc, elementary school, shops, and a clinic. And of course, the residents were very friendly! We bought and printed our own I <3 GK bags, which was a new experience for me.
Next stop was SM Mall of Asia because that's where Daisy is meeting her friend, Greta. Edsa wasn't as bad a bitch as I thought. We ate at Jollibee and met with Greta, then said our goodbyes to Daisy. I really miss that girl already! So much fun to be around with. Instant barkada talaga kami. It's wonderful how close we have been considering that we have only been around each other for less than ten days. I love it!
EDSA was hell after Mall of Asia, and it was such a bitch that I gave up. I'm sorry, I cannot do that. Edsa Rush Hour is a killer. There were barely spaces between vehicles, and you know me, I like my space. Plus there were buses and jeepneys and everyone just keep changing lanes and everything was such a hassle that we decided that we'd park by a mall so that we could buy the toys that Clariz wants to give as a present. After printing Clariz's pictures we just stayed at the car and waited for the Rush Hour to rush by. Journey home was a breeze, took us about 45 minutes from Taft Ave. That's an hour and a half of commute! EDSA is crazy.
Nanay's here from Nepal, lovely! I missed her so. She bought a meditating bowl thing, the one that can be placed on top of your head. It's hard to explain. Better take a photo instead.
I'm so sleepy my eyelids keep on closing. Time to go.
