Because my other blog has been found out. Ha.

Today, I got us our passports from DFA. It was an hour-and-a-half commute from home, and surprisingly it didn't tire me out. Hindi hassle. It really makes a difference in stress levels when you ride the mrt during the early afternoon. I actually had a seat. Rare stuff.

Arrived at DFA. Took me two hours of waiting in line, as Nanay predicted. A case of Mothers Know Best. Haha nah, she's just informed, nothing to do with being a mother. Orrr. Anyway, my book kept me company. Mansfield Park. I really, really wonder at my fellow waiters-in-line. They just sat there. Waiting. For their turn. Like books. Don't. Exist. I wonder what they could be thinking. What are playing in their minds? Do they have such an imagination that they could keep themselves entertained - just sitting there? Ano kaya mga pinagmumunihan nila? Or are their minds blank? Not having a book would probably bore me to death. Pero ayun nga, hindi talaga tayo culture of reading. Looking around, I was the only one reading a book. No one seems to be doing much either. Yung mga may katabing kilala, converses with them. Yung mga walang kasama, wala. Hmm. How I would have liked to pick their minds, but I'm not curioius enough to tear myself away from my book.

I rode the bus on the way home. Took me an hour-and-a-half from DFA to Cubao. Long ride, but at least it's more comfortable that having to go through the ticket line at the MRT Taft station. What is tamad right? But the bus is aircon and I have a seat. Comfort or time, I chose comfort. I am not in a hurry anyway, and it allowed me to read a few more chapters of Mansfield. I appreciate buses when I'm safely tucked inside them, and not when I'm on the road amongst them.

Also, my dad has arrived from Mongolia. Mongolia!! A dream destination. Ever since I saw the Babies documentary, I've always dreamt of going there. He bought me a lovely purse - something I'm sure I would not use often as I am not a purse-woman - but I appreciate it just the same. He also bought chocolate-covered raisins! I like.

There's a seat sale to Kota Kinabalu - 200 php! Thank you AirAsia. And a whoooping 2-peso fare from KL to Mumbai. YES. There is a God. I love that Air Asia has long promo periods, unlike those in the philippine airlines that only have a day or two of sale, and then they're fully booked. Hope I could book an Air Asia flight. Family trip, must consult parents.

Didn't get to pay the Meralco bills so missions are not all accomplished. But there's tomorrow, I must check it off the list.

I've been ranting long enough, so bye blog. And, hi.
